There are so many ways you can participate in AUTS, and if you have an idea email Heather.

Here are some of the ways people have participated in the past:

  • They join PA/ART 391 production class and work in creative pods to bring a research idea to life. (creative pods are groups of various artists, performing artists, and researchers.)
  • A faculty member wants their class to partner with performance class to bring a group research project to life.
  • A club or organization wants to create a presentation
  • A person/group wants to submit their research/writing/idea for the Production class to interpret and turn into a presentation.
  • We will also need volunteers to staff the event to help with COVID protocols and check-in.

What can be on stage? What kind of artists/performers are needed?

  • ANYTHING can be on stage? How might one interpret Inertia?
  • ALL ARTISTS!! Skateboarding artists, rollerskating artists, digital artists, graffiti artists, movement artists, pedestrian artists, writers, singers, playwrights, dancers, drone operator (seriously, what is your talent, bring it! How can you use it to communicate?)

Do you have a Research or Creative Idea?

If you are interested in proposing a research or creative idea? Ideas can come from any program, department, club, faculty, staff, or student on campus. If you can present your idea in a poster- AUTS can bring it to life!

If your proposal is accepted, there are many avenues to share your research with creative teams, or even lead the creative team yourself. Please contact Heather with ideas and questions.
